If your home is becoming a branch of the local library, it’s time to say goodbye to some old friends so others can enjoy them.
Many bookstores and libraries will not only take your books, but also CDs, DVDs and puzzles. Call your local libraries or go on their website to locate a wish list, what they will/will not take, and when they welcome donations. If books are musty, water stained, are written in, or have pages missing, throw them out.
Here is a list of places you can donate your books.
